Selah is found in the Book of Psalms and 3x in Habakkuk. There's some misunderstanding on what it means. Based on the position of the word in scripture it is likelt to mean "to praise", "pause and reflect upon what has just been said", "pause and calmly think about" or "pause in His presence".
Based on the implied meaning, let's take a Selah moment in our life. Take a Selah moment in the day to stop and praise God. Take a Selah moment to reflect on the goodness of the Lord. Take a Selah moment to pause and reflect on what you've read or what has spoken in your spirit. Take a Selah momemt to pause and think about your life and where you are or want to be. Take a Selah moment in your life to pause in the presence of God. Take a Selah moment to bask in the His Glory. Take a Selah moment to trust God. Take your Selah moment in life daily.
O Lord , how my enemies have increased! Many are rising up against me.
Many are saying of me, “There is no help [no salvation] for him in God.” Selah.
But You, O Lord , are a shield for me, My glory [and my honor], and the One who lifts my head.
With my voice I was crying to the Lord , And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.
I lay down and slept [safely]; I awakened, for the Lord sustains me.
I will not be intimidated or afraid of the ten thousands Who have set themselves against me all around.
Arise, O Lord ; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.
Psalm 3:1-8 AMP
